You guys — it’s May 1st!! I feel like April went by so fast, it’s crazy. Anyways, four days until Cinco de Mayo and if you don’t have plans, I got you! There are a ton of rooftop parties happening in the city, and some of my favorite restaurants have specials on drinks and food.

 

Whenever I’m craving spicy margaritas and Mexican food, my go to spots are Mexicue, Calexico and Vida Verde. They all have a variety of tasty dishes, exceptional customer service and the best brunch specials! AND, if you’re a vegan or vegetarian, Calexico has yummy vegan nachos.

If you want to kick things up a notch and don’t mind getting wet, Magic Hour rooftop is having a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, Sunday Bubbles at 4pm with music, beer and BUBBLES! Don’t want to get wet? Bodega Negra is throwing a special pop-up party with a TACO & TEQUILA BAR!! From noon to 7pm, eat all the tacos you want until your heart’s content.
